There’s a really interesting discussion going on in the comments to this post.

It’s extremely interesting and a little unusual to see so many heavy-hitters weighing in and the ideas developing in “real time”. Typically to watch this kind of thing (if you can be a party to it at all) you have to bounce back and forth from one blog to another and try to follow the thread of trackbacks and links, much like the situation during the big Google Toolbar discussion a while back.
