Legalized marijuana case to the US Supreme Court
Just another example of the current administration’s hypocrisy regarding state’s rights. The states can decide things for themselves as long as they follow the policies of the administration (either spoken or unspoken).
To be fair, past administrations pursued this form of drug war as well. They just weren’t as hypocritical of the states rights side of things.

Marijuana is a far cry from being a schedule one drug. The generation of the 60’s are well aware that marijuana is is not a dangerous drug and should not be classified in the same category as herion. Criminal Justice educational books educate law enforcement students on the history of marijuana in regards to the US. It was an attempt to regain jobs back from the mexican population to the white population. Officials targeted marijuana only because it was the spanish group’s drug of choice, and in their efforts the politicians ranted and raved of marijuana being a dangerous drug. Politicians gave marijuana its bad name for policial reasons only. If a man chooses to have a beer at the end of his day or a joint it should be his choice.
