Yep, I’ve had Ubuntu and Edubuntu installs running on a laptop for my daughter a few times over the past few months - actually if you look at my archives you’ll see more recent posts regarding networking in Ubuntu, unless I’m much mistaken (but I’m too lazy to go look).

In fact my daughter loved Ubuntu and it’s cousins, and if it weren’t for the fact that that particular laptop’s HD was dying and that I stumbled upon an iMac for her to use, we’d still be using it. For now though, we’re a Windows/Mac household.

Who knows - I’m looking for a home server of some sort - perhaps Gutsy will be my OS.
