As you say, I commented on that piece, not to mention that it was actually my introduction to Bokardo. I suspect I discovered it through my attention.xml Feedster search feed (or Pubsub, or Technorati).

That shows you how much I need an attention solution of some kind. Or just to pay better attention.

On the contrary, I’m very familiar with Steve’s work: here’s a post that I wrote about a month ago: Attention is Not Automation. I have not, however, had much chance to articulate any of it to my readers, so I’m walking softly right now…

That said, I’m of the same opinion as you are…I don’t know if another XML format will solve our attention issues or make them worse. I can imagine a scenario in which we’re looking at metadata for most of our day instead of looking at content. In fact, I already do that to a serious extent…

I am, as you obviously are, looking forward to see how all this plays out.
