Back from vacation…
Well, I’m back from my in-law laden vacation in Boston and a great time was had by all. Luckily I’ve got a wonderful set of in-laws who are always fun to be with and whom I love like family (which is good, since they are).
We stayed at the Kingdom Fine Arts Bed & Breakfast, which is a wonderful place in the Back Bay close to Newbury St. My parents-in-law rented the entire 2nd floor for about 12 of us including my 4-person family, and the accomodations were the best I’ve ever stayed in.
The wedding we were there to attend was very nice as well, and the ceremony took place in one of the most beautiful churches I’ve ever been in: First Baptist Church of Boston, Massachusetts [warning: Quicktime music ahead].
Overall the vacation was good except for the day-after-the wedding brunch (a 2 ½ hour ordeal at Charley’s Saloon on Newbury - very disappointing) and the seasickness on the whale watch trip (luckily for me, nmyself nor my kids were sick).

Nice pic. Wish my place looked like that, envious of the library. I wonder if personal libraries, or even bookshelves will start to look quaint to the digerati soon. Btw, on the whale watching bit, I went whale-watching in cape cod when I was very young, and can still remember the humpbacks rocking the boat- not just my childhood imagination, we have pics. Scary but cool.
