Dave Winer: Guidelines for validating OPML
Dave is building an OPML Validator.
I’m curious what he sees lacking in the RSS Validator that also validates OPML that Randy Charles Morin wrote a while back. I’m assuming, of course, that he knows it’s out there. I think that’s a rational assumption; he references Randy’s work in his guidelines, and Randy’s post is the first Google hit in a search for opml validator.
Or maybe he doesn’t see anything lacking per se, but just wants to do it his own way. I can understand that.
Generally I wouldn’t have posted about this, but I’m interested in trying out Dave’s comment suggestion.
