I don’t know much about browser proxy-ing technology (like the kind that anonymizes your data whilst you browse, a la anonymouse and others), but a few weeks ago when I was in class I could have used an attention proxy.

I had a fair amount of time to browse the ‘net while in class, but unfortunately aside from what I posted to del.icio.us, none of my attention data was captured during that period because I was working on a machine that didn’t have the Attention Extension (which, BTW, is now a SourceForge project). Having a proxy that I could have sent all my browsing through would have alleviated this problem (and also could have resolved the issue with Firefox 1.5 and the ATX with custom services).

Perhaps Root.net would look into something like this as a service to offer.
